Michael S. Boden, SCSM, joined LMS Commercial Real Estate in February, 2005. He has been in the retail real estate industry for the past 14 years.  Prior to joining LMS, Michael served as Director of Management Services for Fameco Real Estate in Conshohocken, PA.  His prior experience includes four years with the retail group of Jones Lang LaSalle, two years with The Rouse Company (now part of General Growth Properties), and four years with Urban Retail Properties Co.  Prior to joining Urban Retail Properties Co., Michael began his career in 1992 at LMS Commercial Real Estate as a sales associate. 

During his time with Jones Lang LaSalle, Michael was promoted to the position of Regional Manager after serving as the General Manager of Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake, VA.  As a Regional Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle, Michael was responsible for a portfolio of 11 Northeast properties totaling in excess of 8,000,000 square feet.  Michael also served as a Vice President / Leasing Representative, working on a variety of properties from New York to Florida.  Michael’s responsibilities with Jones Lang LaSalle included overseeing the management of Grand Central Terminal in New York and the leasing and management of the prestigious Union Station in Washington, D.C.

 Michael also spent two years with The Rouse Company as Vice President & General Manager of Moorestown Mall in Moorestown, NJ.  In this position, Michael was responsible for the operations and leasing of the property during a $45 million dollar expansion and renovation project.  The project included the demolition of an anchor and the construction of two anchors along with additional new retail space. 

With Urban Retail Properties Co., Michael advanced through a series of opportunities from Assistant General Manager to General Manager of enclosed malls.  The properties, located in Virginia, New Jersey, and Florida, ranged in size from 900,000 square feet to over 1,200,000 square feet.  During these assignments, Michael was involved with a $13 million dollar renovation of Military Circle Mall (VA) and assisted with the sale of Moorestown Mall (NJ) and Broward Mall (FL).

Michael is an active member of the ICSC and has obtained its Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager (SCSM) designation. He is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a MBA at Drexel University.  Michael is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania.

 In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and flying airplanes.
