David joined the Blackford Development team in April 2001.

A native of Lancaster County, he has over 20 years experience in the construction industry in various capacities.  Past projects around the country, particularly the East & West Coast include Outlet and regional retail, commercial lot development, multi-story office buildings, residential multi-family townhouse/apartment projects from 100 units to 400 units.  Many facet buildings for regional banks, ice hockey complexes, various retail and office spaces among owner operated properties.  His background fits project real estate construction project goals, working with owners, architects, planners, municipal authorities to achieve the most cost effective and timely plan.

At Blackford Development, David is involved in every facet of a project at the owner’s discretion, no matter the size.  He manages all construction development and activities at a multi-project level.  Some daily responsibilities include site evaluation, value engineering, project pro-forma and budgets, coordinating engineers, architect, general contractors, site contractors, as well as, CAD evaluation.
