Brian joined Property Management Alternatives, Inc., (PMA) in 2003. Brian
has over 16 years of commercial real estate, property & asset management and
financial services experience.
At PMA, Brian is responsible for the oversight of all financial aspects of
property management accounting, including financial reporting, cash planning
and tax. Brian also provides strategic leadership, planning and oversight
to the company and analyzes the financial impact of property acquisitions
and dispositions.
Brian is instrumental in acquiring financing for various acquisitions and
development projects. Since joining PMA, he has facilitated
nearly $600 million of new financing with Wall Street conduit lenders, life
insurance companies, regional and local banks. The capital advisory and loan
facilitation services he provides now extend beyond the company’s portfolio,
as he assists other commercial property owners with refinancing their real
estate loans.
Prior to joining PMA, Brian spent one year working for Fulton Financial
Corporation (a $16 billion multi-bank holding company) in the Corporate
Controller’s Department as a financial analyst. While with Fulton, Brian’s
main responsibility was to manage the budget process for Fulton Bank. In addition, he was responsible for other special ad hoc
management projects, prepared board of director financial presentations and
designed and created interactive Access databases.
Previously, Brian worked for 9 years in the commercial real estate/property
management industry as the Controller for Fisher Companies.
While with Fisher, Brian was responsible for managing all accounting
functions of the company. In addition he gained valuable experience in I.T. field, while simultaneously filling the role of
information technology manager.
Brian is a graduate of Geneva College with a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration degree, double-majoring in Accounting and Business
Administration. Brian is a licensed real estate salesperson in
Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA),
having completed his certification in 2005. The CMA professional
designation is administered by the Institute of Management Accountants.
Brian is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the
International Council of Shopping Centers.
